''The Iowa Hawkeyes women's basketball team rarely misses NCAA Tournament play. In fact, since the 2000-2001 season, the Hawkeyes have only failed to appear in the NCAA postseason five times. In 2018-2019, the team had a particularly strong player named Megan Gustafson. In her career as a Hawkeye, Gustafson captured most of the important records for the school, including scoring, rebounding and accuracy in field goals. Gustafson has graduated, though, which led many industry experts to speculate that the Hawkeyes wouldn't have the skills to bring the heat in 2019-2020. Her departure, along with the departure of Hannah Stewart and Tania Davis (two other strong senior players), means the Hawkeyes have had to rethink their game on the court and focus on the strengths of younger players, which is why they didn't place in the Big Ten's preseason top five by the coaches or the media. However, the Hawkeyes are confident as they prepare for greatness at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Get your Iowa Hawkeyes Womens Basketball tickets at StubHub today.'

Her record of wins with the Hawks makes her the coach with the most wins in the program's history with 396 at of the start of the 2019-2020 season. Her overall career win tally sits at 752. While at Iowa, Bluder has been selected as the Big Ten Coach of the Year three times (2001, 2008, 2010), the WBCA Regional Coach of the Year four times and most recently the Naismith Coach of the Year in 2019.'

Michelle Edwards helped lead the Hawkeyes to two Big Ten Conference championship wins and the team's first No. 1 ranking in its history. She was selected as a Kodak All-American, named Big Ten Conference Player of the Year and selected as the Iowa Athlete of the Decade. After leaving the Hawks, Edwards shot hoops for the
WNBA
for five years and played nine seasons in Europe. Cynthia Sue Haugejorde was a First Team All-American who led the school in both scoring and rebounds during her years with the Hawkeyes. Additionally, Haugejorde walked away from Iowa with 2,059 career points and 1,067 rebounds, both school records. After graduating, she went on to play for the Women's Basketball League. She also played pro ball in Italy.
''At the start of the 2019-2020 season, Jan Jensen had 17 years under her belt as associate head coach of the Hawks. Jensen is the team's recruiting coordinator and is well-known nationally as one of the nation's top women's basketball recruiters. Raina Harmon's efforts for the team are focused on the perimeter players. She's been instrumental in the team's accomplishments over the past three years, including its phenomenal 29-7 overall record in 2018-2019.'
