Originally named the Carter De Haven's Music Box, the Fonda Theatre is a historic concert and theater site located on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles. The Fonda Theatre's seating capacity is capped at 1,350 people. Seating is typically general admission, but there are some events that require or offer reserved seating.
The Fonda Theatre prohibits the use of all cameras, including cellphones and personal stills, as well as audio and video recording devices.
Visitors using public transportation can take the Metro Red Line to the Hollywood and Vine Station when attending Fonda Theatre events. The venue is a two-block walk from the station. The Fonda Theatre does not offer guests the option for on-site parking; however, there is a parking lot directly to the right of the theater on Hollywood Boulevard and Gower Street. Depending on the event, prices to park will vary.
The Fonda Theatre prohibits outside food in the venue. However, empty plastic water bottles that are 18 ounces or less can be brought in and used to fill with water while you are attending an event. Attendees are welcome to purchase food at the Blue Palms Brewhouse, a craft beer bar located just beyond the lobby doors.
