''Harvard Crimson football games are played at Harvard Stadium in Boston, Mass. It is a U-shaped outdoor venue that holds 30,323 people. Built in 1903, it had natural grass until 2005 when FieldTurf was installed. Henry Lee Higginson donated the 31 acres of land to the school and team to commemorate the Harvard alumni who lost their lives during the Civil War. Dubbed “ ”Soldier Field,“ ” it was built in just under five months at a cost of $310,000.'
'Tim Murphy has been the Head Coach of the Harvard Crimson football team since 1994. In his 25th season, he has a total record of 171-73. This makes him the school's most successful football head coach. Among his accolades are 16 seasons of winning records, an undefeated season in 2004 and his 2012 election as president of the American Football Coaches Association.'
