GRiZ is a producer, DJ, vocalist and saxophonist from Detroit, Michigan. His real name is Grant Kwiecinski. He is known for his style of music which he calls future funk. It's a mix of dubstep and funk music that helped him rise into stardom in the mid-2010s. He first started making music on his computer while he was a student at Michigan State University, eventually dropping out of school to pursue a career in music on a full-time basis. GRiZ first started gaining some popularity after the release of his debut album in 2011 called

End of the World Party.

'All Good Music is a record label that Kwiecinski created to help promote his music and the music of some of his producer friends. Some of the first groups on the label include funk-electro acts like The Floozies, Manic Focus and GRiZ's live guitar player Muzzy Bear. Each album made by GRiZ and other artists on the label is available as a free download on the site. The music and shows played by GRiZ are helped by promotion with his street team, affectionately called Liberators. Liberators also help GRiZ raise money for his charitable cause, the 12 Days of GRiZmas.'

On top of his festival dates, GRiZ performs at venues throughout the country year-round, especially when he is touring to support a new album. 'Yes. Each year, he hosts his charity event, the 12 Days of GRiZmas, in his home city of Detroit, Michigan. The proceeds go to a variety of non-profit organizations in the Detroit area. 'The entertainment offerings at a GRiZ show vary from event to event. Usually, he tours with just himself and his guitar player Muzzy Bear on stage. The GRiZ live band is also billed for certain special events. The live band is a full band consisting of rhythm section, backup singers and a full horn section that perform his music without the aid of backing tracks. You can always expect a varied show with performances of musical selections across his entire catalog.'

'Yes. Most notably, he was given the Spirit of Detroit award in 2015 for the money he helped raise at his 12 Days of GriZmas event. He was also named the No. 1 Breakout Artist of 2013 by The Untz.'
