'The Green Bay Gamblers had their inaugural season in 1994. Since then, they have become one of the most successful franchises in North America. The team has scored two Junior A National Championships, two Tier 1 National Championships, seven Eastern Division titles, four Clark Cups and five Anderson Cups. The alumni of the team includes Stanley Cup champions, honored military personnel and NCAA Division 1 All-Americans. Players for the Green Bay Gamblers come from all over the world, and over 20 of them have gone on to play in the NHL. 'The head coach for the Green Bay Gamblers is Pat Mikesch, and he is the seventh head coach in the history of the team. Ryan Petersen and Blake Hietala both act as assistant coaches for the Gamblers. In 1996, the Green Bay Gamblers won their first Clark Cup Championship. During the playoffs that year for the Cup, they came back from being down 3-0 against the Twin Cities Vulcans in the first round and 3-1 down in the finals against the North Iowa Huskies. In 2000, the Gamblers clenched the Clark Cup Championship and won three games in a row in overtime after faltering in the first game. The final game in that series was the second-longest in the history of the Clark Cup playoffs. In the 2010 Clark Cup Championship, the Green Bay Gamblers lost the first two games to the

Fargo Force

. They then came back to win the next two games and then a winner-take-all fifth game in front of a record-setting nearly 9,000 strong crowd. The Green Bay Gamblers won their fourth Clark Cup Championship with a win over the

Waterloo Black Hawks

in Game five.

'Many Green Bay Gamblers have gone on to be in the National Hockey League. Some of them are Lean Bergmann (2017-18), Justin Braun (2004-06), Austin Czarnik (2010-11), Nick Jensen (2008-10), Anders Lee (2009-10), Brendan Lemieux (2013-14), Casey Mittelstadt (2016-17), Gustav Olofsson (2012-13) and Nick Schmaltz (2012-14). A few Green Bay Gamblers have even played for the Stanley Cup. Those players are Matt Greene (2001-02), Ryan Carter (2002-04) and Adam Burish (2001-02).'
