No stranger to music, Gian Marco Zignago was born in Lima in 1970 to famed singers Javier Zignago and Regina Alcover. Gian Marco would release his first self-titled album in 1990 after catching the eye of Discos Independientes. By 1993, he was asked to represent Peru in the twelfth edition of the international OTI Festival. When he released A Tiempo in 1992, Gian Marco was nominated three times for a Latin Grammy. Though he primarily performs his own material, Gian Marco can be found occasionally collaborating on songs with artists like Mandy Moore and Marc Anthony.
