The Escapade Music Festival's inaugural event was held in 2010. A few hundred fans gathered to take in Deadmau5, the headlining act. A year later, the festival's size amplified, moving to a market parking space to accommodate the growth. That year, Laidback Luke, Calvin Harris and Tiesto dropped their beats. In 2012, the event gained even more momentum when about 15,000 people attended the Escapade Music Festival, which covered more than two days. Hosted at the Ottawa Baseball Stadium in East Ottawa, the 2012 Escapade Music Festival welcomed over three dozen DJs who took over three stages. Sharing the bill were Dada Life, Afrojack, Gareth Emery, Avicii, Tommy Trash, Dillon Francis and Zeds Dead.

The 2013 even was even more spectacular than the first two. Over 20,000 fans were in attendance. This event hosted Mark Knight, Ben Gold, 3LAU, Wolfgang Gartner, Benny Benassi, Candyland, Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz, Seven Lions and more!
