''Chris Pollard took over as the 25th Duke Blue Devils baseball coach in 2012. Before that, he coached at both Pfeiffer and Appalachian State Universities. Under Pollard’s direction, the 2018 team was ranked in the preseason for the first time ever. That season lived up to its predictions with the team having its first-ever in program history 45-win season. In his tenure at Duke, Pollard has seen 30 players drafted to the MLB, eight of which were in the first 10 rounds. Pollard is assisted by Josh Jordan (Associate Head Coach), Dusty Blake (Pitching Coach), Jason Stein (Assistant Coach) and Chris Gordon (Assistant to the Head Coach).'
