Dresden Dolls tickets are now available! Get them while you can, because you haven’t seen a group like this since before the Reichstag burned down! Hailing from Massachusetts, this band blends the sexiness and playful performance of Weimar-era cabaret with punk and indie rock. With a penchant for the theatrical, live shows are a sight to behold. Vocalist/pianist Amanda Palmer and drummer Brian Viglione often take the stage dressed—as their name would suggest—like antique marionettes.
The Dresden Dolls came together in 2000 and released their debut album three years later. Their unique live performances and jazz-hinted style gained them a loyal cult following in their native Boston. It quickly endeared them to indie crowds while they toured around. Their music can go from mournful to manic from song to song, expressed all through the original pairing of piano and drums.
In 2006, the band released their second album, “Yes, Virginia.” It received wide acclaim from the music press—and a follow up in 2008 entitled “No, Virginia.” If you’re a fan of the band, you need to hear their new material played live. Buy your concert tickets today!
