'Diplo says that particular versions of homegrown rap and the Miami bass music of the city where he spent much of his youth were both instrumental in shaping his style as he developed his career. Using the title Hooked on Hollertronix, Pentz's name soon become synonymous with the party scene and helped him move to the next logical step.
