The race has become one of the most popular in the NASCAR cup series, having been held for years during the July 4 weekend. The timing of the race during the middle of summer gives spectators the chance to enjoy the Florida sunshine and see an exciting race while being just minutes from the Florida coastline. In 2020, the race is being moved to the end of August, making it the last race of the regular NASCAR season before the playoffs begin. The Coke Zero Sugar 400 is a 160-lap race that is the final chance for professional racers to make it into the playoffs. The Coke Zero Sugar 400 is generally a family-friendly NASCAR race, and it's one of the cornerstones of the NASCAR circuit. Get your tickets for the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at StubHub.

The Coke Zero Sugar 400 is generally a high-intensity, edge-of-your-seat car race featuring fast speeds, loud engine revs and plenty of crowd cheering. Filled with plenty of dramatic racing, the 2019 Coke Zero Sugar 400 had plenty of challenges, including a huge wreck during stage three that took out almost half of the drivers who were leading the race at the time. The wreck was triggered when the rear of Austin Dillon's car was clipped by Clint Bowyer. The race was eventually won by Justin Haley, driving for Spire Motorsports. The top 20 finishers included many of the most well-known drivers on the circuit, such as Jimmie Johnson who finished in third place, Ty Dillon who finished in fourth place, Ryan Newman who finished in fifth place and Aric Almirola who finished in seventh place. Other finishers included Kurt Busch in 10th place, Kyle Busch in 14th place, Paul Menard in 16th place and Brendan Gaughan in 19th place. Justin Haley won the race after leading just one lap when the race was called due to ongoing lightning in the area for more than two hours.
