In 2016, he won the Grammy for Best Country Solo Performance for the song "Traveller" and Best Country Album for the album of the same name on which it appeared. In 2018, he won the same pair of Grammy Awards, this time for the song "Either Way" and the album From a Room: Volume 1 as well as Best Country Song for "Broken Halos." Including other major music awards, Chris Stapleton has received 85 nominations and 48 wins so far in his career.
Chris Stapleton has writing credits on six No. 1 country songs recorded by other artists, including "Never Wanted Nothing More" by Kenny Chesney, which spent five weeks in the top spot.
