The Canadian Finals Rodeo is the premier event of the country's professional competitive rodeo circuit. Contestants from all over the country must have participated in a number of rodeo events and won a certain number of participant points to qualify for this prestigious rodeo event. The rodeo takes place annually in early November and lasts six days. During this time, both qualifying and final rounds for each rodeo event are held, and a winners' bracket is created. The overall winners in each category are presented buckles to commemorate their winnings, and sometimes they get large cash prizes too. If a participant or team wins several categories, the prizes grow in denominations. During the course of the rodeo, new rodeo royalty is crowned in the Miss Canadian Rodeo and Miss Junior Rodeo categories. The new royals and their court are celebrated throughout Westerner Park with a dedicated awards ceremony and parade Grab your Canadian Finals Rodeo tickets at StubHub.

The Canadian Finals Rodeo is a six-daylong event with several championship competitions each day. Attendees of the show will see competitors in several events, including bareback riding, saddle bronc, team roping, barrel racing, bull riding and steer wrestling. The event also includes down roping, novice saddle and bareback racing and junior steer riding. Women's racing events such as barrel racing and team roping are scheduled for particular days of the event. Additional tickets aren't needed to attend many of the Canadian Finals events' free activities.
Between competitions in the arena, there is downtime that can be spent enjoying the on-site fan experiences. Experiences located on-site include athlete autographs, a trade show, musical shows, pin trading, fashion shows, a Miss Canada Rodeo and competition, a horsemen show clinic, a pre-rodeo party and buckle presentations.
Westerner Park
is a nonprofit organization and an agricultural society. During the Canadian Finals Rodeo, the event takes place in several locations around the venue. Most events will take place in the exhibition hall and Stockman's Pavilion.
In between contests and between qualifying or final rounds, attendees can sit back and enjoy a variety of arena entertainment without leaving their seats. Entertainment acts include comedians like Dennis Halstead, bullfighters and brave shenanigans provided by CFR Pickup men.
Like most rodeos, the Canadian Finals Rodeo offers guests an opportunity to enjoy country music entertainment. However, the performance doesn't take place in the same arena as the rodeo. Instead, guests will have to move to the CFR Cabaret pre-rodeo party. The party is located in the Parkland Pavilion. In addition to country music, rodeo attendees can also pick up event swag, watch rodeo highlights from the night before and even enjoy an adult beverage or two. Entertainers who have performed in the past or plan to in the future include Bobby Wills, The Road Hammers, George Canyon, Doc Walker and Corb Lund.
