The Canadian Finals Rodeo is the premier event of the country's professional competitive rodeo circuit. Contestants from all over the country must have participated in a number of rodeo events and won a certain number of participant points to qualify for this prestigious rodeo event. The rodeo takes place annually in early November and lasts six days. During this time, both qualifying and final rounds for each rodeo event are held, and a winners' bracket is created. The overall winners in each category are presented buckles to commemorate their winnings, and sometimes they get large cash prizes too.
