The Big East Women’s Basketball Championship is divided into five separate sessions. Session 1 will consist of matchups among seeds No. 7 versus No. 10 and No. 8 versus No. 9. The quarterfinals make up sessions 2 and 3 and feature the winners from the first round along with the top six seeds from the conference. Session 4 is the semifinals, showcasing the last four teams fighting to get to the championship. Finally, session 5 is the Big East Women’s Basketball Championship game, and the winner receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament.
