Spearheaded by the program director at B93, Dave Taft, the event saw a huge amount of success during its first year, which is why it continued on, growing and offering more to fans and performers with each passing year.

For the seven-year period between 2010 and 2017, the event took place at the U.S. 131 Motorsports Park, located near Martin in Allegan County. This venue was an ideal option because it had a capacity of 70,000 and reached this capacity in 2013. This record turnout resulted in a shortage of parking, which is part of the reason the event planners keep switching venues trying to find more suitable spaces with each passing year.
