Holding each opponent to just 43 points, the last time the Arkansas Razorbacks managed this feat in back-to-back games was 14 years ago. Ever since the first men's Arkansas Razorbacks' basketball team was established in 1924, it has proudly represented the University of Arkansas in the NCAA Division 1 of men's basketball in the Southeastern Conference. Whether the team is taking on opponents at its home facility of Bud Walton Arena or facing off against rivals, the Razorbacks is committed to putting on a great show. Fans can buy tickets to see the Arkansas Razorbacks in action at StubHub.'
'Chris Musselman currently holds to head coach position for the Arkansas Razorbacks men's basketball team. With a fresh start, 2019 marked the beginning of his first year coaching the Razorbacks. With prior coaches such as Mike Anderson from 2011-2019 (who led a 27-win season in 2014-15), John Pelfrey from 2007-2011 (who led an 8-13 season in 2011) and Stan Heath from 2003-2007 (who led at 82-70 record), the team has had some great leadership over the years.'
'
In the 2017-2018 season, the Razorbacks had a 23-12 win record with a 10-8 win record in SEC play. Important wins included UConn, Colorado State, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt. Losses included Texas A&M,
LSU
, Mississippi State and Auburn.
''A series of games that will keep fans on the edge of their seats have been lined up for the Arkansas Razorbacks in 2019. The team began the season in early November with blowout victories against Rice and North Texas. In January, the team will be matched up against some of its previous victors, including LSU, Mississippi State and Alabama. The
Bud Walton Arena
, also known as the Basketball Palace of Mid-America, can seat 19,200 guests. As the fifth-largest campus arena for basketball in the United States, this arena cost $15 million and took 18 months to build. A new scoreboard, courtside seating, a revamped student area known as The Trough and expanded audience seating are a few of the most recent improvements that have been made since the arena's debut in 1993.
''As an older team, the Arkansas Razorbacks have had many rivals throughout the years. From the Longhorns at the University of Texas in the 1990s to Texas A&M in 2012 to the continuing rivalry with the Wildcats at the University of Kentucky, the Razorbacks have had its share of competition throughout the years.'
'The Razorbacks are a part of the Division I Southeastern Conference. They have also played in other conferences, such as the Southwest Conference. The Razorbacks brought home wins in the regular-season conference championship in 1992 and 1994.'
'The Razorbacks have also been fortunate enough to have developed some very good players throughout history. One of these was Marvin Delph, who was part of the University of Arkansas Razorbacks NCAA Final Four team in 1978. Delph was later inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame in 1998.'
