German pop singing sensation Andrea Berg is bringing her live tour to the world stage. Known for is her propensity for unusual stage outfits, Andrea Berg has sold over 10 million records in her career.

Andrea Berg is a German singer from Krefeld. Always very creative as a child, she was interested in performing in sketches. As she grew older, she started playing in a band and even helped with band transportation and stage set up. Berg then became a nurse and specialized in oncology and intensive care units. It wasn’t until the early 1990’s that Berg’s musical career began to take off when a producer named Eugen Römer heard one of her recordings and recognized her enormous talent.

Comparable with pop music, Berg focuses on the Schlager genre and has found a great amount of success. Her debut album was Du bist frei and while it did well, her second album, Gefühle is what truly put her musical talent on the map.

Propelled by this victory, Berg went on to record and release her third album, Träume lügen nicht, which reached No. 71 on the German album charts. She hit No. 3 in the ZDF-HitParade with her single Vielleicht ein Traum zu viel.” Berg has had as many as four releases at once on the German hit charts. When her hit album, Atlantis, was released in 2013 it went directly to No. 1 on the charts and remained there for almost a full year.

Andrea Berg began the new millennium with a bang, with her “best-of” album staying in the top 100 of the German charts for four consecutive years. It eventually went double-platinum and triple-gold, a record-breaking event, and sold over 2.1 million copies.

This German pop music diva has managed to earn her share of music awards. Two years in a row (2004 and 2005) Berg won the Austrian Music Award Best Schlager Album. Additionally, she won the ECHO Award for Schlager four times (2003, 2004, 2005 and 2007) and her album, Nah am Feuer, went gold. She has also won Germany’s prestigious Goldene Stimmgabel six times.
