'There were 72 total games scheduled. The season began as the Thunder visited the Maine Mariners. There were 14 exciting home games played on a Saturday and 12 that took place on a Friday. They are Frank Littlejohn, Sylvain Cloutier, former team players. And the two other inductees, H. Douglas Doug Burch and Dan Miner are builders, meaning these men have impacted the growth and strength of hockey within the region. The AHHOF as well as a fan vote determines the winners.'

'The winning streak was ended when the Maine Mariners shut out the Thunder at the Cool Insuring Arena. With a scoreless second period for the Adirondack Thunder, the Mariners eventually ended the game with a score of 3 to 0.
