Located in Woodinville, Chateau Ste. Michelle is the oldest winery in Washington State. Outside of being known for its award-winning wines, the vineyard is also the premier place for summer concerts featuring the hottest names in jazz, blues and contemporary music. Built in 1954, Chateau Ste. Michelle winery began hosting summer concerts in 1984 and, since that time, has welcomed many iconic acts, including

The amphitheater at Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery seats 4,300 people with 3,300 lawn seats and 1,000 reserved seats.
Unfortunately, Chateau Ste. Michelle is not accessible by public transportation. However, for visitors who drive and choose to park in off-site parking lots, the winery does offer a shuttle to the venue.
Most of the Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery seating is festival style, so visitors are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs to sit on. In order to ensure that viewing is pleasurable for all guests, patrons who have chairs with backs that are higher than 32 inches or seats higher than 12 inches will be required to reside in areas designated for high-back chairs. The amphitheater also provides low-back chairs for a fee through the Visitor Center.
While Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery offers a wide variety of wines and food items for purchase, visitors are also permitted to bring in their own food. Alcoholic beverages purchased off-site are strictly prohibited as are water bottles that have been opened prior to entry to the venue. Visitors wanting to indulge in alcoholic beverages have the option of purchasing wine until approximately an hour and a half before the conclusion of the performance. Barbecues and other open-flame cooking devices are strictly prohibited.
The shows at Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery are family-friendly, and visitors of all ages are welcome. Children 3 years of age and older must have a purchased ticket in order to gain admittance to the venue. Children 2 years of age and younger are free with the price of an adult's purchased ticket for general admission while all kids, regardless of their age, must have a purchased ticket if they will be sitting in reserved seating.
