What is the age limit for shows, and does my child need a ticket?

For Orpheum Theatre shows, each individual event and/or performance will have its own age limit restrictions. If the production is a kid-friendly one, your child will have to have his or her own ticket. There is no free admission for children under a certain age.

Is the Orpheum Theatre a wheelchair-friendly facility?

The Orpheum Theatre wants to provide a safe, entertaining space for all people. There are five reserved spaces for patrons in wheelchairs, and there are five reserved seats for patrons who have other mobility issues that may require walkers, braces or other equipment. The row immediately in front of the wheelchair spaces is reserved for the companions of patrons in wheelchairs.

Can I tour the Orpheum Theatre?

The Orpheum Theatre does provide organized tours for groups of people numbering 20 or higher. Visit the theater's website to arrange your group's tour.

Can I smoke inside the theater?

Smoking inside the Orpheum is strictly prohibited; however, you are allowed to smoke outside the theater. Simply check your ticket stub when leaving the building to smoke, and retrieve it when you return inside the building once more.

What do I need to know about parking?

If you are a seasonal ticket holder of the Orpheum Theatre, you can purchase pre-paid parking through the MGLW Garage near the theater. However, for everyone else, there is the option of valet parking your vehicle for a $20 fee. There are also many available parking spots on the streets around and near the theater. After 5 p.m., most of these parking spaces can be used for free, and there are many nearby restaurants that will allow theater-goers to park in their lots for free if you dine with them.

Is food available at Orpheum Theatre events?

The Orpheum Theatre has many concession stands that sell drinks and snacks and that are located throughout the theater. There are also two full-service bars located in the main lobby. Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the theater.
