The Yuengling Center, which was formerly known as the USF Sun Dome, is located on the campus of the Unversity of South Florida in sunny Tampa, Florida. Construction for this 55,000 square-foot facility began in 1977 and was completed in the latter half of 1980. The Yuengling Center is host to roughly 300 events every year that include Lauren Daigle and the University of South Florida World Qualifier VEX Robotic Competition. Other events include the USF mens' and womens' basketball and volleyball competitions, Tae Kwon Do tournaments, concerts, trade/home and garden shows, and many more. What is the seating capacity at Yuengling Center?

The Yuengling Center can seat 10,411 people comfortably. In fact, a major renovation that began in 2011 involved reconfiguring the seating to make it more comfortable and accessible for visitors.

Where is the best Yuengling Center seating?

For sporting events, the best seats are in Sections Floor 1, Floor 2, Floor 3 and Floor 4. Any seat in these areas will provide you with impressive up-close views of all the action. For events that require larger areas, such as rodeos, just about any seat located in the mid-levels will provide the best viewing.

Is the Yuengling Center accessible by public transportation?

To reach the Yuengling Center, you will have to either drive yourself your use a service such as Lyft or Uber since there is no public transportation that reaches the facility. However, those that possess a valid USFCard can use the USF bus system, the Bull Runner, to get to any Yuengling Center events.

Is there on-site parking at the center?

All parking at the Yuengling Center is first come, first served, and the prices for parking vary for each event. For vehicles that are oversized, the owners will be charged for each space used by their vehicle, and there is plenty of parking available for limousines, buses and those that require disabled accessibility.

Is the Yuengling Center a wheelchair-friendly facility?

Yes, the facility is wheelchair friendly. During the 2011 renovation, along with reconfiguring the seating, upgrading the scoreboard, adding a new concourse level and adding a team store, the facility was upgraded to make sure that it was ADA compliant and comfortable for all visitors.
