Located in the heart of downtown Edmonton, Alberta, Rogers Place is the official home of the
Edmonton Oilers hockey team. It is also the home of the major junior hockey league team the
Edmonton Oil Kings. Rogers Place is owned by the city of Edmonton, although the Katz Group operates the arena and owns both teams. With its sleek glass faade and modern amenities, Rogers Place anchors Edmonton's newly developed Ice District. The arena originally opened on September 8, 2016, replacing the previous Northlands Coliseum. It has hosted numerous concerts and events, including

Is Rogers Place accessible by public transportation?
Rogers Place can be accessed by both train and bus. The Edmonton Light Rail Transit system runs directly through MacEwan station a few blocks from the arena. Moreover, the Edmonton Transit Service has more than 40 bus routes operating near Rogers Place during weekdays. On evenings and weekends you can take routes 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 15, 57, 100 and 151.
Does Rogers Place have on-site parking?
Yes, Rogers Place has several parking lots in the immediate vicinity and in the surrounding blocks. However, in most cases you must purchase the parking pass separately from the Rogers Place tickets.
Does Rogers Place accommodate guests with disabilities?
Rogers Place features accessible parking spots, designated drop-off and pickup zones, elevator access and accessible seating locations on every level. For visually impaired guests, all signs in the arena contain Braille lettering. If you have hearing difficulties, then you can pick up an assistive listening device from the guest service center. Service animals are welcome as long as they remain on a harness or leash.

Does Rogers Place have premium seating?
Yes, there are several options to choose from. The Scotiabank Suites on the private level, feature lounges, television sets, gourmet menus and in-suite services. The PCL Loge area, overlooking the lower bowl, features a semi-circular table with cushioned barstools and enough room for four people. In-seat food, a full-service bar and an open concourse are provided as part of the package. The Theatre Box provides a comfortable private seating environment for four to six guests at a time. Food services and a private bar are included as well. Finally, the two-level premium Sky Lounge features a full-service bar, in-seat beverage services and 52 seats.
