The Bluebird Theater is located in the heart of downtown Denver right off of Colfax Avenue, between Adams Street and Cook Street. Originally a movie theater, the Bluebird was converted into a premier concert venue in 1994. It is known for featuring local and indie talent from the Denver area. There is a designated parking lot for patrons of the Bluebird Theater located across the street in the Paradise Cleaners parking lot. There is also metered and unmetered parking along Colfax Avenue, 16th Street and 14th Street. The metered parking operates from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Monday through Saturday. Adams and Cook streets are for residents only, and patrons who park there will be subject to towing. While there is parking nearby, walking or taking the RTD is the recommended method of getting to the Bluebird Theater.
The Bluebird Theater prides itself on being an ADA accessible venue. Patrons do not need to buy a specific ticket. Instead, upon arriving, guests can let security know, and they will either provide you with a chair or take you directly to the ADA section.
