Fox Theater Oakland
The Fox Theater Oakland, designed by the San Francisco architecture firm of Weeks and Day, is listed as a historic building on the National Register of Historic Places. The theater, a former first-run movie house, is now a 2,800-seat concert hall located on Telegraph Avenue between 18th and 19th Streets in downtown Oakland, California, hosting concerts by various recognizable artists. In 2009, after being closed for 40 years, the Fox Theater reopened as a live music venue, art school and restaurant.
