The Kia Forum
Located in Inglewood, California, The Forum has been a staple local event space since it was built in 1967. The unique structure by architect Charles Luckman boasts no major support pillars. Once home to the
Los Angeles Lakers
(basketball) and
Los Angeles Kings
(hockey), the arena now plays host to many sports and entertainment events. Infamous sporting events held at The Forum include the 1983 NBA All-Star Game and the 1981 NHL All-Star Game. Additional events include boxing matches, the Nickelodeon's Kid's Choice Awards and concerts by the Eagles, Twenty One Pilots and
Imagine Dragons.
If you're looking to see an event at this arena, purchase The Forum tickets at StubHub.
The Forum seating varies depending on what type of event is being attended. The maximum seating capacity is 17,505 for basketball games, 16,505 for hockey games, and up to 18,000 for concerts and other entertainment events.
The best seats for viewing the stage and performers during concerts and entertainment events at The Forum are located in sections 106, 107, 108 and 109. These seats are close to the stage and give a bit of elevation so visitors can see the stage even if others in their section stand up.
Events at the Forum are accessible by public transportation. Visitors can take the Los Angeles Metro Bus Lines 211 and 215 to the Prarie/Manchester or Prarie/Kelso bus stops.
The Forum offers wheelchair and companion seating as well as wheelchair-accessible concessions options on the Forum Terrace, floor level and concourses. All non-mobile stands also have wheelchair-accessible counter areas.
The Forum offers on-site parking. Prices range from $30 for general admission to $45 for VIP. Those wishing to park at The Forum will need to enter the parking lot via the Prairie Avenue entrance or the entrance via Kareem Ct. Payment is accepted in the form of cash and major credit cards.
There are plenty of entertainment options located near The Forum. There are a variety of restaurants and bars that range from budget to upscale, and there's Exposition Park, home to the California Science Center. Those looking to relax or get some exercise should stop by the Hawthorne Aquatic Center.
