Immediately after the Fifth Quadrennial Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, there was an awareness that Fort Worth venues did have the proper acoustics or logistics. In 1998, the Nancy Lee and Perry R. Bass Performance Hall opened its doors on the corner of Fourth and Calhoun streets. Today the hall hosts more than 300 performances a year and multiple shows on a single day aren't uncommon. The hall is also the home of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, the Fort Worth Opera, the Texas Ballet Theater and the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition and Cliburn Concerts. Is photography or video allowed?

Photography is allowed but only before the performance, during intermission and following the performance. Guests are asked not to take pictures or video during performances. Selfies with the Angels are allowed, and you can take them by accessing the balcony on level 4 across the way from the Mezzanine bar.
