The Citizens Bank Opera House Boston first opened in 1928 and was called the B.F. Keith Memorial Theatre in recognition for Benjamin Franklin Keith's work in vaudeville entertainment. In 2004, the Citizens Bank Opera House Boston underwent a $50 million renovation so that the sightlines, acoustics and setting could be maintained for years to come.
