The Zurich Classic of New Orleans is an annual tournament held each year in Avondale, La. The tournament is part of the PGA tour and has attracted some of the world's greatest golf players to the New Orleans area for decades. The Zurich Classic changed its format in 2017 and became a team tournament. It was required that one golfer from each team be selected from the players who have earned favorable rankings from the tour. Partner players must either be a member of the PGA Tour or receive an exemption from a sponsor to compete in the event. Another change meant to add a bit more excitement to the Zurich Classic of New Orleans is the four-ball play during the first and third rounds. Foursomes played with alternate shots were also added for rounds two and four. Get your Zurich Classic of New Orleans golf tickets at StubHub.
