Founded back in 1996 after the separation of Kyuss, Josh Homme embarked upon a mission to bring Desert Rock to the frontier of music.

Since their creation, they have gone through various line-ups and more musical styles and moods, ranging from electronic robot rock (Era Vulgaris), dark and sexy (Lullabies to Paralyze), cathartic, (…Like Clockwork) and robotic dance rock with their 2017 release (Villains).

Throughout the years, their lineup has included many notable musicians, including Mark Lanegan and Dave Grohl.
