The Connor Palace theater is one of the many venues at the Playhouse Square Center. This venue, which was designed in the French Renaissance style, originally opened in 1922. For many years it operated as a Vaudeville house and featured Czechoslovakian crystal chandeliers and a Great Hall that was decorated with around 30 paintings. Connor Palace at the Playhouse Square Center eventually closed down in 1969 before being renovated and reopened in 1988. Now, the theater plays host to various theatrical productions, including hit Broadway shows such as
