The Lyric Baltimore
'
A popular music venue in Baltimore, Maryland, the Modell Performing Arts Center was once called the Music Hall and then the Lyric Opera House and is located near the University of Baltimore. Created to resemble the Concertgebouw Concert Hall in Amsterdam, the building opened its doors originally in 1894. For decades, the hall was the home of opera and symphony performances. It was also the home of the Baltimore Opera Company. In 2010, the venue became the Modell Performing Arts Center. Today, it's still the home of today's best talent with acts like
