The Liberty Bowl Stadium is a massive venue with over 145 acres of space, and nearly 60,000 seats. There are also 40 skyboxes and a 5,900 square foot video screen for maximizing visibility and experience. The stadium has high rise seats on the sidelines, and the bowl shape drops down near the end zone. From inside the stadium, all you can see outside is the blue sky, making it feel like the stadium is at the top of the world. The end zones of the stadium are typically sectioned off for the Memphis Tiger band team, but anywhere else in the stadium is open for fan seating. The “Tiger’s Lair” is a section reserved for the official student section of Memphis football fan cheering members where students get extra rowdy and lead loud chants throughout the game.

. The rivalry with Ole Miss has been a long one, starting back in 1921. The Tigers have won this rivalry since 2016. The rivalry between the Tigers and the Redwolves is settled every year by the Paint Bucket Bowl where the two teams compete each year either in Memphis or in Jonesboro, Ark. Memphis currently leads this rivalry as well with a record of 30-23-5. The Louisville Cardinals have been a rival of the Memphis Tigers for years, in many sports besides football such as basketball and track.
