D.A.R. Constitution Hall
The Daughters of the American Revolution Hall, more popularly known as DAR Constitution Hall, opened in 1929 on D Street NW and is Washington DC's largest concert hall. Designated as a National Historic Landmark Building in 1985, the Hall receives half a million guests annually for its events. DAR Constitution Hall hosts dinners, live shows, awards programs, debates and more throughout the year. Since Calvin Coolidge, every American president has attended events at DAR Constitution Hall. Yes, you can reach the hall by bus, metro and train. Use Metrorail Blue Line, Orange Line or Red Line to reach the hall. Those who favor trains can use the Manassas Line. Those wishing to take the bus can use 38B, 80, MALL or X2.
Yes, there is limited metered street parking available at DAR Constitution Hall. On Monday through Saturday, there is four-hour parking from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Parking is also available at Colonial Parking's garage at 1800 G Street NW only a few blocks away. The garage keeps track of the Hall's schedule of events and often alters its operation to accommodate guests. Reserving parking in advance is recommended.
Guests with mobility needs can enter DAR Constitution Hall through the D Street entrance doors. The D Street ramp is accessible by vehicles dropping off guests with mobility challenges. The ramp is on the lobby level.

Light fare is available in the lobby of DAR Constitution Hall for most events. There's also a full bar service available at the lounge at the lower level and the lobby area.
